XACT Liquid Flow & Water Cut Meters
The XACT Liquid Flow Rate & Water Cut meter is a non-intrusive, clamp-on ultrasonic solution that delivers accurate 2-in-1 measurement of oil/water flow rate (±1%) and water cut from 0–100% (±1% absolute) by measuring time-of-flight and speed of sound across the full pipe bore. Its external installation enables fast setup, zero process interruption, and immunity to erosion, corrosion, fouling, pressure, viscosity, or sour service, while providing outputs such as net oil and water flow via 4–20 mA or Modbus. XACT offers wide turndown (up to 1:400), compatibility with many pipe sizes, hazardous area certification, and optional remote connectivity for reliable, low-maintenance operation.

The XRATE Liquid meter from XSENS is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter that measures liquid flow rates from outside the pipe with ±1% accuracy by capturing the full velocity profile using patented helical transducers that correct for uneven flow. Its non-intrusive design allows for quick installation (2–3 hours) even downstream of elbows and valves. XRATE Liquid handles all liquid types with no limitations on density, viscosity, pressure, or sour service. Compatible for pipe sizes from 1.5” to 30” (larger on request).
